  [1] Greetings.

Hi All:

Seems we had a slight glitch with issue #1001. Apparently some of
the mail servers are scrubbing the attachments to avoid possible
viruses. So, some of our members got nothing with the first
issue. So, we will post all issues to the E-Tailer's Digest site
(current site now; new one soon), and we will do both a text and html
version. The text version will link to the html version online.

We have received many compliments from list members on the new
format, with everybody saying they like the linking capability. Go
here for E-Tailer's Digest 1001 http://etailersdigest.com/etd/etd1001.htm

Today's business tips covers trade shows, which is very closely
related to trade shows. In fact we used our Seminar Planning Guide
as a basis for trade show planning. Trade shows REQUIRE a lot of
planning to be effective. Without proper planning and follow up, you
are wasting your time and money.

Now, let's get to everything for the retailer.

Sincerely

George Matyjewicz, PhD

  [2] Unique Products - "How-To" Seminar Guideline
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have organized and conducted over 400 seminars and trade shows
since 1983, which we revised and honed to be the most effective
possible. Seminars and trade shows work, if you do them right! For
seminars, we use a subtle sales approach that positions you (and your
organization) as an expert in the field, rather than a sales
person. Over the years we were asked to package our
business-to-business seminar program to be used by other firms. Well,
we finally did so..... http://etailersdigest.com/etd/etd1002.htm#Tips...

[3] Business Tips - Trade Shows
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Learn how you can do effective trade shows - expert guidance from the
experts. Tips and pointers on subjects such as...

o Booth. What should you use?
o Cost effectiveness. Trade shows are probably the highest cost per
lead of any form of marketing! So why do them?
o Can't quit once you start. Don't believe that age-old argument
that when you stop doing a trade show you are dead.
o Qualifying suspects at a trade show.
o Should you do hospitality parties?
o What makes a show good or not?
o Closing business at a trade show.
o Homogenous exhibitors grouped together.
o Evaluating a show.
o Planning
o Should I use "booth babes?"

... and much more. http://etailersdigest.com/etd/etd1002.htm#Tips...

Learn how one mid-sized CPA firm has conducted seminars quite
successfully six times a year for three years, and how they get
between 10 and 40 companies to attend. All this with a clerical
person organizing them.
